Where to begin, valued Internet Surfer? I'll start with the beginning
since it's been a few months. Avenger - Wish
Again received the Best in Show award at
Anime Detour 2008. For my reward, I received a little star
trophy and a gift card. Including this accomplishment, DZX received an
award for all three years we entered.
Ice Angel finished her custom mix that combines the talents of Serj
Tankian and t.A.T.u. You can listen to the final mix found in the
Creative Works forum.
Despite an insane last week of homework crunching, I graduated from
college with High Honors. Job hunting comes soon... but I am
definitely relaxing after three years of education. It's very nice.
"...but wait..." I hear you say. Yes, AMVs are in their planning
stages. And X gave me a pretty good idea this afternoon. Other
than the one I'm currently working on, I just might have to work on this
next. You should enjoy it. ^_^

Welcome to the new (and updated) year!
With much delay, I officially announce my newest AMV release.
Set to the anime Avenger, Wish Again is yet another step in my editing
experience. From original conception, editing, and final release, I
could easy write a short story about making the project. The video
is posted on the video page, and you can view the whole
announcement in my profile at animemusicvideos.org.
Since last update, some video planning and progress is taking place
behind the DZX scenes as well. _Ice Angel_ is currently working on the
project tentatively entitled "I Ain't Marryin' No Friggin' Horse!!!!!"
She's putting lots of work into it, and I even got to see an early beta
render.
Lastly, a certain video project is causing two opposite forces to
collaborate into an unforgettable combination. ...What could it be???

Howdy all~
It's another Fall at DZX Productions and that means college is well
into session. And that certainly creates many hassles and crying fits about
not being able to do the things we normally like to do!
Although I can't specifically speak for the other members, they are
quite busy with jobs and college alike. As for myself, I squeezed a few
hours into my AMV this week, but man! At this rate, each scene will take a
week to complete...
Many thanks to AZ for letting me bum a semester at his apartment
since all my classes moved to the campus near his place.

Summer is here and DZX is back into its normal routine of
full time employment. Here is my original idea for the webpage update:
work, eat, games, party, work, sleep, games, work, games, party, eat.
Notice how many times sleep or AMVs are mentioned? 0_o;
I'm still recovering from last night's Halo party hosted by our forum
member Sithius. Many thanks to him for giving us yet another reason to hang
out. <ZOMBIES!>
The Promised Land RPG recently closed its Element of Prosperity Saga and
started the Fallen Phoenix Saga. Check Sephy's webpage for the details.
As always, check the forum for the latest news and events. If you're

Wow, my first main page update since posting this site.
Big thanks go out to the staff for keeping everything up to date!
Thanks to an incredible organizational effort on the part of
everyone in the message board community, DZX has secured its place at Anime Detour 2007!! We will be lingering
around the game rooms, video screening rooms, dealers rooms,
parties, and the general con craziness. And, given the agonizing wait time until it kicks off March 23rd, you can expect some great offerings to the
con-goers in terms of videos this year. All senior members have so called "black-ops" projects they are working on
behind the scenes, but I am not one to disclose any information at this
time, mostly because I don't know myself.
The Promised Land RPG keeps rolling along, potentially
wrapping up with an explosive climax in the near future! Stay tuned as the
board residents bring you epic battles of good and evil!

It appears that the long DZX hiadus from making ANYTHING
continues on thanks to that glorious thing we all need yet absolutely
hate... school. Yes the grind of college has sent us all back to the salt
mines of depriving ourselves of sleep whilst cramming for tests and
procrastinating on important projects.
There is brand spanking new news though DZX Related! We are
proud to announce we have a new member within our ranks, Waffle King.
Although an overdue welcome in our opinion, we're glad to finally be able to
say that Waffle's has been assimilated into the colle- ER!! I mean has
openly accepted our invitation into DZX Productions ^_^ . Please make
everyone's favorite stack of syrupy goodness feel welcomed.
On the DZX message board, the Promised Land RPG is cranking
along again as it's 'Element of Prosperity' storyline ark is reaching a
potential climax. For those interested stay close to the forums and the
Promised Land page for more posts and information.

DZX took a long vacation this summer...at least from AMV
making. The crew is working countless hours to save money for the
upcoming college semester. On the days that we're not working, you'll
find us crashing at Waffle King's house for some multiplayer action.
In addition, Sephiroth X will be gone for a week on a trip. Perhaps
this is our chance to get production back on track. 0_o;
Although highly interrupted, I've been converting my DVD footage for current
AMV ideas. I'll be trying new things with Adobe After Effects, so it
may be a while before any anticipated release. Hopefully I can finish
my ideas before they drive me crazy...or take over my hard drive.
I'll update the projects page sometime in the future.
It's been sitting there for a very long time without any changes and doesn't
even list any of my plans. For any other daily news, check out the
forum.

ZOMG! An update at last! ACen has come and
gone once again. After the minor confusion of Archangel Zero and Dark
Crono's driving directions (pictures a scene in the sequel to 'Teh History
of DZX'), the crew stood in awe of the Hyatt Convention Center of
Goodness. A weekend of anime indulgence, dehydration, and lack of
sleep for me! It was a great time meeting our hotel roommates -
especially an awesome guy who made us laugh the entire time. Smtemp's
website Anime Desires contains pictures of the convention and her
outfit. Check it out!
AMVs have gone quiet for a while. After the big bang of activity,
college slammed its iron fist directly into our plans. However, only a
week remains...but my teachers aren't giving up without a fight. 0_o;
Summer is coming up quickly, but most of the DZX senior members plan to work
full time to cover our rising expenses. Who knows - if things can work
out, maybe some of us would get an apartment together. Anything is
possible...except homework if that ever happened (laughs).

With the next DZX anime
convention looming near apparently it has awoken the slumbering beast that
is DZX Productions. We're proud to announce to major AMV releases from DZX!
First, AltruisticCrono has released the highly anticipated
remake of 'Hold So Dear' entitled 'Remember Me'. After giving a personal
37inch HDTV screening of the new creation to DZX Productions, all we can say
is that this video has lived up to its expectations!
Second, in an attempt to have a video of his own for the
upcoming AMV competition. Sephiroth X pushed himself to the extreme,
essentially pulling an 'iron chef' and working for 24 hours over a 29 hour
span from Thursday afternoon until late Friday night. The end result was a
recreation of an old classic as well, except this time from the old archives
of _Ice Angel_ in the form "Path of Advent". Which features a
custom extended mix of the original song, done by DZX's own Ice Angel and
Sephiroth X.
Rumblings of video production have also come from the camp of
Sqiky Kleen and Archangel Zero. Its definitely nice to see such an amazing
shot of new life from all the members of DZX Productions!

Update)
DZX Productions has landed its first award in AMV
competition! Give your props to AltruisticCrono. His creation, IRIA -
Complete Authority, won for Best Action Video in its first ever entry
into competition, and DZX's con-debut, at the Anime Detour convention this
weekend. All of DZX Productions wants to give its congrats out to
AltruisticCrono for this important first in DZX. ^_^
Anime Detour has now come and gone and its rather unanimous
that all of DZX and its local fan-base whom attended had an absolute blast
with everything! Got to cheer loudly as Waffle King got arguably the
largest ovation of the night for his Pyramid Head costume in the cosplay
masquerade. Grinned in pride and joy as AC's IRIA - Complete Authority video
played as the final Action Video of the competition. Watched Sephiroth X
give a edge of your seat nail-biting performance beating Megaman X2 sans-sub
tanks. Got glomped... alot. And just overall enjoyed what was, for most of
us, our first con.
In other news there's a new AMV release for DZX Productions. If you dare
call this an AMV of any sorts, it was a very impromptu creation from
Sephiroth X basically made to inaugurate the weekend now called "DZX
Does Detour". The video chronicles the very basic history of DZX
Productions in a very comical, random, and badly drawn manner (Seph's lost
his mind I swear...). So brace yourself and download 'Teh History of DZX'
(Spelling error intention).
