Dark Crono has probably become the single most intimidating force within the PL:RPG, and the apparent nemesis to Sephiroth X. The past of Dark Crono is unknown, his intents are unknown, his motivation is unknown. Dark Crono's power has gone unmatched by all who oppose him and a simple glare from his eye has left people motionless. The only time Crono is ever seen is seemingly when he chooses to be seen, and has a rare ability to teleport to almost any given location at his own will. All that is known about Crono is that he pursues the Element of Prosperity, for what intention is still unknown. Dark Crono believes he has foreseen the end of the world, and that both he and Sephiroth X are linked to that destiny. Crono has so far used Sephiroth X like a pawn in his quest for the ultimate power. No force of any power has yet been able to stand up to Dark Crono physically or mentally, not even The Senator himself. Until that day occurs, all will be pawns of Dark Crono's own personal quest.

Appearance: Crono from Chrono Trigger. He stands at 6' with a moderate, yet strong build hidden by a large, black cloak. Very few have actually seen his face in the last few years, let alone his entire image. Natural eye color is blue, but right eye has been genetically altered to glow with intense hatred. The eye tends to strike fear into his opponents and reveal their deepest secrets. Typically seen in the shadows and fog of mysterious locations.

Eye radiance depends upon his current mood and which side is controlling him.

Personality: A dark-neutral character. He travels alone, pursuing those who have information and intelligence of the Element of Prosperity. Rarely trusts anyone because of a traumatic event hidden deep within. He varies between a confident and sadistic being, to a depressed and troubled individual. Known to have inner conflictions within himself, such as to be possessed with an evil presence.

Weapon of Choice: Known to carry the legendary Rainbow katana. Another less used weapon is the Mursamune swallow (weapon held by both hands and blades on both sides of the handle).

Fighting Style: Swordsman and Magic User

Signature Moves:
-Intimidation and an evil presence is usually enough to remove opponents. He is naturally able to see in the darkest of places. His true power is yet unknown.

Light Manipulation: one move, two variations.
-------Darkness: A large area is rendered completely void of light - sometimes accompanied by a brief, torrential thunderstorm. The glowing eye becomes intense with a burning red tinge, striking fear and confusion in his opponents.
-------Aurora: A large area is overcome with piercing and excruciating light - able to render mechanical eyes/sensors useless. Also known to blind individuals, especially if combined with Darkness.

Haste: Movement and reaction time is magnified. Able to dodge bullets and most blade slashes. Used for either fighting or retreat tactics.

Luminaire: A dome of lightning is formed, engulfing the enemy with a severe energy shock. It ranges with intensity and brightness depending upon Crono's current strength. Due to his evil state, the color altered into a deep blue, rather than green.

Evil Stare: Draws the attention of the opponent to focus on the glowing eye and renders them unable to prevent a single, but not fatal attack. Also used to look into sub-consciousness and read thoughts. It drains Crono if used for a long period of time. Mirrors and reflective surfaces cannot prevent this move (unlike Medusa).

Oblivion: His ultimate move and most draining - killing the opponent(s) within moments. Similar to Cloud's Omnislash, Crono releases an onslaught of 15 furious blade slashes that blur with speed. Last hit typically begins at the navel and ends past the head. Used only when desperate, sadistic, or near death.

Misc:
-Pursues the Element of Prosperity for both good and evil purposes.
-Haunts and searches for the individual who can save his troubled soul.
-If you see him, it's only because he wanted you to.
-Recently contacted by the Senate.
