-The Promised Land RPG Cliffnotes

BEWARE AS THESE NOTES CONTAIN SPOILERS!

1.
-An extra terrestrial on an interstellar voyage had his ship struck by a meteor and has crash landed on Earth, millions of light years away from his home and wife.
-All his crew died in the crash.
-He seeks food and shelter at the end of the chapter.
-He does not speak English, but is learning.

2.
-Lynx had apparently has a talent for finding things, and has done so in a previous life.
-The Senate forces him to help in finding the Element.
-Imprisoned by the Senate with a small electro-shock device attached to his shoulder.
-Was tested by a mysterious female figure and instructed to proceed with his quest.
-Now on the Alpha continent.

3.
-Claude and Zack had been captured by the Senate and were tortured just for fun.
-They eventually escape with Senate uniforms, the Buster Sword, and a hot ride. Claude being in bad shape.
-After awhile of traveling in the desert, they run into their old resistance team members who believe them to be traitors, and kill Zack.
-Claude adopts many of Zacks personality traits towards the end of the story, including his name

4.
-Sephiroth X has been having a series of nightmares involving a cloaked figure.
-He witnessed the crash-landing of Bax. And felt a great power coming from Bax's crash site.
-He later investigates the crash site, and confirms one survivor.
-More senseless slaughter of innocent drifters.
-X rides off on the drifters motorcycles, seeking Bax.

5.
-Destroys 3 drifters.
-Was a mass murder in a previous life.
-Was given great power by the Senate in exchange for freedom.
-But he escaped anyway.

6.
-Kills several drifters.
-Appears to have a large bounty on his head of 400 thousand dollars.

7.
-His home village was attacked and burned to the ground.
-He is drawn into the woods by some unknown force and is granted great power by a dragon statue. The power to avenge his people.
-He tracks down and kills the man responsible and heads out into the city.

8.
-Bax still seeks answers and direction and ends up seriously injuring 7 drifters in a fight. Apparently having a hard time blending in.
-Zack sees Bax and stumbles to his feet, greeting him quite openly.
-Bax attempts to befriend Zack.
-X finds Bax rather quickly and approaches him.
-Dragoon leaps down from the large building he was in to the rooftops below. He quietly observes the trio.
-Bax greets X, although rather cautiously.
-X explains how he saw the ship crash, explains his dreams, and also inquires to the name of Zack.
-Bax revealed various pieces of his past to the readers, stating briefly things about the loss of his father, a great war, and mentioned that he was reliant on others most of his life. The rush of these sad feelings caught up with him at this point, as he diced to push on in his quest to get back home. Very emotional.
-Zack related to Bax's confusion.
-X attempted to communicate with Bax through telepathy. Bax's response to X was most unfavorable however, as it sent him flying into the wall. Bax has much more power than X had thought.
-Zach confirmed a partial understanding of what had happened with X and Bax, and cast it aside. He decided to stay with them, and maybe even befriend them.

9.
-X finds his way to the cafe where Bax found sanctuary, and pries information out of the shop owner. He learns Bax's whereabouts and items he had been carrying, and continues his search of Bax.
-(may include a possible time warp)

10.
-Prodigi sensed the power and figure of several characters, and also sensed the presence of Pyramid Head. He proceeded to track PH down.
-PH summoned a much different figure to attack Prodigi.
-Prodigi approached the scene and prepared for battle.
-In a flurry of gunshot, self-stabbing, and fireballs, Prodigi managed to take out the zombie like creature, and afterwards, fell unconscious.
-PH dragged Prodigi into an old abandoned warehouse, attempting to heal Prodigi for an even greater battle.
-Prodigi healed his wounds. Angered with symbol imprisonment, he transformed into trance mode and broke the spell of the seal.
-PH SUMMONS SILENT HELL! Preparations for battle were complete.

11.
-X drifted into another dream, this time in a hellish environment, possibly created by PH.
-He was attacked by several familiar figures and the same mysterious cloaked man.
-He woke up and flipped out on Bax, nearly killing him and waking up both Bax and Zack.
-Zack frantically tries to keep a bad situation from escalating further.
-Bax pondered the possibility of his powers being greater than they really were, and also wondered if they were adversely affecting X.
-Bax initiated a fight with X. IT'S ON!

FIGHT! = X vs. Bax
-An amazing display of martial arts skill and swordsmanship ensued, with X forcing Bax to a non-lethal defeat.
-Both fighters, though powerful, obviously held back this round, and also had no intentions of killing each other to begin with.
-The trio of sword wielders were ambushed by helicopter by the Senate. Bax was knocked out with a tranquilizer, Zack was handcuffed and pummeled, and X was approached by the Senator, the previous Apprentice of legend.
-He tried to convince X to help him find the Element. X challenged the Senator but was easily defeated.
-All 3 were captured and taken to the Senate for whatever twisted reasons.

12.
-X struggled with consciousness throughout the long helicopter ride as well as his trip to the big house.
-Zack's reminisced on the events that took place in the alley and the helicopter.
-He mocked the guards as he inquired to their destination. He eventually ended up back in the custody of the Senate.
-Dragoon, still on the roof, caught a ride on one of the helicopters, and rode to the Senate. There he broke into the building and killed 2 guards. The deaths of more were only inevitable.
-Bax dreamed about his brother, and some good times they had shared back on his home planet. He woke up in his cell, weapons confiscated after the dream had ended.
-Zack tried to comfort Bax, and speak clearly to him. He also briefly mentioned "The Bite". (still unknown at this time)
-X was dragged into the Senate's office for questioning. They touched briefly on the Valley of the Promised land and the element. The Senator was actually the apprentice of legend, and ordered X to help him find the element. He never gave an answer.
-Bax was approached by the Senator, and explained to the legend of the element of prosperity. He offered Bax transport back home if he would help him find the Element again. It also appeared that they know the Pheneon's weakness to the blue stuff.
-Zack's memories of his previous torture experience re-surfaced. He continued to comfort Bax after he had been questioned by the Senator, and injected with the blue stuff.
-Sephiroth was subjected to the PH experiment, but resisted the attempt to break his spirit with all his might.
-After various torture sessions with all members, Bax and Zack were let go to the desert of the dead and had their weapons returned to them, Sephiroth's location still unknownst to them.
-Dragoon was approached by the Senator, who had also asked him to help find the Element in exchange for freedom from a curse.

13.
-To save space here, Ill just mention that Bax and Zack remember many things from their past and deeply develop their relationship throughout the chapter.
-Bax reminisced on several things, including his father going off to war, Drax's 10th birthday, and the alignment of the suns and the festival that ensued from it. Bax's 10th birthday had rolled around, and there was still no sign of his father. He later got a message on his 10th birthday, informing him that his father had died in battle.
-He wakes up in the desert, finding his 2 swords, and proceeds to search for his friends.
-Zack wakes up, finds his sword, and quickly seeks Bax, reminiscing on their previous conversation in the Senate stronghold. Afterwards, they begin searching for X.
-Bax now considered Zack a close friend.
-Zack was once again approached by Liz who, again, tries to kill him.
-Zack erupts in a fit of rage, battling and killing Liz, but takes a bullet wound in the process. Zack then falls into a deep state of remorse, crying.
-Bax came to consciousness from the bullet wound and found he had somehow used his energy to catch the bullet midair and cast it aside. He helped the unconscious Zack stay warm through the night.
-Zack dreams of the real Zack and also dreams of the torture he endured.
-Bax continued to help out, and thought back to his first kiss. It was really sweet. ^_^
-Sitting around the fire, talking, Zack mentions about going back to Bax's home planet with him.
-Bax and Zack were now walking through the desert and looking for water. I find something! ensues, and Bax attempts to make the water drinkable.
-They succeed in their attempts to purify the water through MacGyver-like use of fire and ice magic. They manage to partially heal Zack.
-After healing, Bax and Zack take off on a Phoenix summoned from the planet earth and ride further towards civilization.
-After the ride, The Senator confronts Bax and Zack again and introduces them to a brainwashed Sephiroth X, who knocks them both out, then continues to search for the Element.
-Lynx faints in the desert and has a vision. He battles with some quicksand and approaches Bax, Zack and the Phoenix.
-Lynx is invited into the party and decides to join. They head off to Midgar.

-(takes place before chapter 10)
-Prodigi has a conflict with himself as he struggles to not remember his past.

FIGHT! = Prodigi vs. Pyramid Head
-Just a great battle. Read it. Now. :) Prodigi teleported himself to safety and was approached by Lynx, Zack and Bax. They proceeded to get him medical attention.

15.
-Bax stayed with Prodigi in his hospital room, awaiting his awakening. Zack and Lynx went out to make living arrangements.
-The woman Lynx had met on the Beta continent re-appeared and gave him a mysterious feather. He then found a man offering to give him a cash reward for an assassination job. Lynx accepted.
-(back at warehouse) Pyramid Head returned reality to normal and vowed to kill Prodigi, who had previously escaped.
-Zack, while searching for a job, found a woman in need and saver her from some would be murderers. Zack approached a mercenary that had arrived on the scene and asked to join the ring, in hopes of finding a job.
-Zack approached Edos Lee, who offered him a position, IF he could find and capture a criminal wanted in Midgar. He decided to follow a criminal named "Babybreath", a sick individual.
-Prodigi awakens and he and Bax discuss recent events.
-Dragoon encounters an armed man just outside of a bar.
-Prodigi almost loses control and attacks Bax in the hospital room. Afterwards, they begin looking for their companions.
-Lynx found his assassination target, killed him, and took his cash, debating on weather or not to return it to the man who hired him.
-Pyramid Head seeks Prodigi, but finds he has evaded him once again. He turns the hospital into his own little SILENT HELLISH home.
-Lynx decided to investigate the Hospital before returning to his assassination hire.
-Pyramid Head approached Lynx, and initiated threatening conversation.
-Zack caught the Red Listed criminal and used some of the money to buy Bax an umbrella.
-Lynx prepared for a battle with PH.
-After killing the guy in the street, he took his gun, shot him in the thigh and left.
-Prodigi, at a hotel bar, paged through the red list and found his name, crimes, and price on his head.
-Bax dreamed about the time his nephew was born, and then goes to look for Lynx.
-Zack battles with bathroom technology. He speaks with Prodigi about the price on his head, but refuses to turn him in.
-Bax goes to find Lynx and ends up becoming trapped in the nightmarish Hospital from SILENT HELL!
-Pyramid Head summons a Scraper to battle Lynx. He kills the Scraper and turns to PH.
-Pyramid Head as Lynx about his Senate origins.
-Bax continued forth in the Hospital and encountered a Closer. (SILENT HELL monster)
-Lynx told PH of his defiance to help the Senate.
-PH accepted his defiance, unless Lynx planned to remove him from the Hospital.
-Bax defeated the Closer and sent it off in Pheonean prayer.
-Prodigi and Zack playfully pillow-fought in the hotel.
-Zack and Prodigi explored the streets looking for Bax.
-Lynx prepared for battle, awaiting the arrival of Bax.
-Dragoon introduces himself to Zack. Zack carefully initiated conversation concerning the Senate.
-Bax sensed Lynx's dark call, and headed in his direction.
-PH expressed his Senate hatred towards Lynx and asked Lynx to leave him to his work.
-Dragoon loosely explains the events at the Senate stronghold.
-Lynx still battles with his decision to let PH go.
-Zack offers to MAYBE tag along with Dragoon. Dragoon denied the offer and walked away.
-Bax finally encounters PH and is slightly terrified of him.
-Zack dismisses Dragoon and continues to search for Bax with the help of Prodigi.
-PH considered letting them both go, but pondered as to why.
-Bax stated to PH that he came with only intentions to find Lynx, nothing more.
-Lynx continued to ponder fighting PH.
-PH let Bax and Lynx go for now.
-Bax attempted to convince Lynx to let the confrontation with PH go, Lynx seeming reluctant to do so.
-Lynx conned all the money out of the old man by killing him and preceded on. Bax did the same.

17.
-The Senator explains the origin of some of his powers, and mentions passing them on to his apprentice Leon.
-Sephiroth X senses the Valley nearby and senses the presence of the Zero somewhere on the Earth.

18
-(first post only)
-Prodigi had sensed the message of Zero in the same way X did.
-He had a memory. He remembered he was the leader of a powerful unit of the Apprentice's army and was given 2 swords and 2 guns by the Apprentice himself.
-Prodigi has a second memory, this time about the death of the Warrior of Prosperity.
-Prodigi approaches the Senator and inquires to the status Archangel Zero and learns of Sephiroth X.

16.
-Zero vaguely explains some of his abilities, his situation, and his stone he carries.
-Briefly explains 2 mysterious items, presumably carried by Archangel Zero. A stone and a book.
-AZ finds, buried with the stone, a letter to a Jessica, explaining how the stone the writer carries is driving his men insane, and is threatening his life.
-Sends the message "Zero" to X.
-Mentions that he cannot read his book, and also mentions that the Warrior of Prosperity is his brother.
-Explains how some of the Warrior of Prosperities powers got transferred into him upon death.
-Two drunks attempt to burn down the church in their stupor, fit failed and were forcefully warned by Zero not to try it again.
-The creature inside the stone attempts to mind control AZ in his sleep.
-Prodigi goes to the church of AZ and leaves a bloody message.
-AZ realizes the existence of Prodigi, and vows to fight him.

18.
-(the rest of the chapter after post 1)
-Zack reunites with Bax and Lynx, having lost track of Prodigi.
-Bax had many things on his mind and began to go his separate way.
-Zack felt afraid of abandonment by Bax.
-Lynx analyzed the auras of Bax and Zack, finding them both to be generally good.
-Zack enjoyed his first real meal at a fast food joint.
-Lynx agreed to go back to the hotel room with Zack.
-Zack attempts to make idle conversation with Lynx in the hotel room.
-Lynx explained his past, outlining a struggle between demi-humans and regular humans, and his thirst for revenge against them.
-Zack found Lynx's story fascinating and added his own comments.
-Bax reminisced once again, this time about the deaths of several of his family members.
-Lynx wonders as to why he is letting Zack, a human, help him.
-Zack returns from his shopping spree and once again battles bathroom technology.
-Lynx relaxed as Zack finally calmed himself to sleep.
-Bax spoke to the planet's Phoenix about many, many things, including the war and events of the planet Earth, and also spoke of his own family.
-Dragoon finally approaches Bax. He steps forward, drawing his blade.
-Bax prepared to fight in defense of Zack and his friends. (Dragoons speech gave Bax some rather negative images)
-Zack heads out to a park and has an intimate conversation with a paper-wasp.
-PH decided to leave the Hospital and proceed to find the Element.
-Dragoon made replicas of Bax's swords using his magic powers.
-Prodigi has another vision from back in the days of the war. He takes off to find the Element.
-Lynx planned on getting information from whoever he could on finding the Element.
-Bax prepared his flames for a battle with Dragoon.
-Dragoon continued to battle Bax.
-Prodigi attacked a group of drifters and sucked one of them dry of their blood. He has a memory of breaking into the Senate HQ Matrix style. He awakens later to find he is chained to a wall.
-Zack had a 'dream' about being horribly harassed and beaten by everyone.
-Prodigi dreams more of his Senate HQ invasion. He also picks up a message from X to Bax stating he will defy and attack the Senate.
-Dragoon donned his special armor, but took on a sort of evil split personality, which he managed to temporarily repress after the event.
-Pyramid Head finds his was out of his sewer Hospital escape and heads out into the desert.
-Bax attempted to kill Dragoon in his state of defenselessness, but held back, wondering why he would do such a thing.
-Bax rushes back to Zack and finds him alive, despite what Dragoon may have earlier implied. A true display of friendship and deep thought about the days events was shown.
-Lynx begins to feel remorse for his killings, thanks to the previous advise of Zack.
-Zack tries his best to comfort Bax on the way back to the hotel.
-Prodigi passes out AGAIN, and sees himself being taken in for a reward, only this time from Bax's point of view.
-Zack and Bax took out Prodigi's captors and freed him.

19.
-Zero encounters an evil cloaked figure on a night walk through the city.
-The senate finds Zeros church and burns it to the ground. He also manages to save a child trapped by the burning building.

20.
-Crono has an argument with his more evil side and mentions the Esper carried by Archangel Zero.

22.
-(first post only)
-Bax and Zack, carrying Prodigi, walks into a general store for supplies and hears of the church burning down on the TV. Bax rushes out of the store, and to the church, and confronts a Archangel Zero.

21.
-Sephiroth X stumbles on the Valley, but is repelled by the Element.
-Sephiroth has a flashback to when he was tricked into drinking the Mako experimental enhancer by Crono, and also tricked into killing his wife.
-X in a fit of rage, bullets towards the gates of Zion in an attempt to storm them.
-Bax summons the Phoenix, Keldira, and takes off on her back towards Zion. Kaldira mentions briefly her wicked twin sister.
-Dark Crono approached the Senator and forewarned him of his death. Or was it only a dream?...
-X approaches the gates of Zion, and after a magnificent display of military power and swordsmanship from both sides, X was finally defeated, but was bailed out by a surprise appearance from Bax and Keldira.
-AZ ponders what to do with the Esper, despite talks with Bax on the subject.
-The Senator is completely un-nerved by the appearance of both X and Crono. He contacts The Holy order of the Magi, who tells him off.

22.
-(start at second post)
-(due to member confusion, assume this storyline hiccup takes place. Bax is walking to the general store, goes and completes the events of Chapter 21, goes back to the walk to the store, and proceeds to complete Chapter 22 events. That's one busy Pheonean!)
-Zacloud carries Prodigi and the groceries back to the hotel room and helps Prodigi to recover.
-AZ mentions the Senate trying to manipulate unresting souls for their purposes. He also finally meets with Bax, and can speak his language.
-PH decided to turn back to the city, instead of walking the desert.
-Lynx, along with every other powerful being on the planet receives a tournament invitation from an anonymous entity.
-Bax read some of the book presented to him by AZ, and discovers there is a dark, incredibly evil creature captive within the Esper.
-AZ pushed Bax to tell him about the imprisonment of the creature.
-PH embraced the tournament invitation, and celebrated by killing two innocent people.
-Bax tells an absolutely incredible tale of the birth of a good and an evil Phoenix, and how they came to be cast onto Earth. Fear the Esper.
-Dragoon sheds light on the subject of the dragon inside him, controlling his actions.
-Prodigi once again runs away from Zack, tournament invitation in hand.
-Zack awaits the return of Bax and Lynx, as he tries to decipher his tournament invitation.
-Lynx receives Dark Crono's lost invitation and tries to throw away his feather given to him by the strange female, but was advised against it.
-X awakens in an alley, still feeling some injuries. He reminisces on the events of the previous day.
-(stop reading BEFORE final post in Chapter 22)

23.
-X meets Crono in an alleyway of Midgar and they discuss the destiny of Sephiroth X.

24.
-Zack awoke from another nightmare/flashback. He spoke with Lynx about the upcoming tournament and tried soda for the first time.
-PH undergoes a transformation, losing his pyramid shaped head and becoming Valtiel. He approaches Zack.
-Zack strikes up idle conversation with Valdiel.
-As Bax finishes telling the tale of the Pheonixes, Sephiroth X enters and encounters AZ for the first time. This post is repeated as the last post in Chapter 22 for merging purposes.
-AZ shows his extreme speed, and mentions Dark Crono.
-X and AZ display their power to one another. X tells of his encounter with Dark Crono.
-Prodigi has another memory, this time about wanting to drink the blood of his wife. He mentions Azriel's name.
-AZ explains the story of the Esper to X, and explains that recent attempts to steal it from him were not those of the Senate.
-Necrostina spoke to Valtiel's mind, directing him to her.
-X describes Dark Crono as being your worst nightmare. He senses the approach of Valdiel somewhere in the city.
