-The Promised Land
RPG : Rules and Regulations 1. Enter a post on this message board entitled "Character Entry - *Your Name Here*" and give the basics of your character.
-Appearance (Can
resemble a game or anime character) 2. After posting the basics of your character, follow it up immediately with a second post titled "Enter *Your Name Here*" as your first role play as your character. It would be best in your first RP to give your character some back story and purpose in the RPG before going out on your own quest. 3. All true battles will be settled in DZX Deathmatch style, posted on the Promised Land webpage of DZX. Winners of matches will be decided by me, Sephiroth X, through a best out of 3 coin flip. I will write all battles. -In the event of a 3-man or more battle, a 'round robin' type of coin flip will take place where every combatant will coin-flip against everybody. -In the event that a handicap type match occurs (2 on 1, etc). The fighter(s) who have the disadvantage in numbers in the fight will have to win all 3 coin flips in order to win. 4. To confirm a battle for the DZX Deathmatch, you must post a message entitled "Fight Request: *Name* vs. *Name*" and ALL fighters named in the battle must reply confirming or not-confirming their participants in the fight. After all combatants have approved the battle, I will respond saying that the battle will take place. 5. 'Skirmishes' where one character might briefly encounter another in a brief amount of combat with no winner is acceptable for role play on the message boards. 6. In the event that I, Sephiroth X, cannot write a match for whatever reason (out of town, don't feel unbiased about match, etc) I will ask one of the other game participants to write the match up for me. The substitute writer can either write the match in a text document (Word, Works, etc) and email it to me or post the match up in this forum and I will later transfer it to the Promised Land website. 7. There will be no definitive "end" to the RPG. You, the participants, will constantly keep the game going. I may at times add on some scenarios to the game to create some conflicts between characters. 8. Don't take everything personally, its just for fun.
9. Have fun for
crying out loud. -You should only have one main character whom does interaction with RPG storylines and other players characters. All content on this website is created, edited, and placed by Altruistic Crono, Archangel Zero, Sephiroth X, SqiKy kLeen, Prodigi, Ice Angel, and their respectful owners. Be be sure to email me about any questions you may have regarding information or details concerning this website. Please do not take anything that isn't yours. If you intend to use any material on this site besides personal use, please ask permission from me or the respectful owners. This is a non-profit fan site.
